I was asked at work what day of the week do I like the most TV wise, i.e. what day of the week do I end up watching more telly.
I don't have to think much to answer: Thursdays!!!
And today it gets even better, so from now onwards it's a 3-hour marathon:
8pm - BBC2 - The Restaurant - Today starts the second season of the brilliant "reality show" where nine couples battle against each other to win the chance of opening a new restaurant with the help of star chef Raymond Blanc
9pm - BBC2 - Mock the Week - The best news show ever!! and it's not even a news show!! Comedian Dara O'Briain is joined weekly by Frankie Boyle, Hugh Dennis, Russell Howard and Andy Parsons, as well as two celeb guests, to play with the week's news. HILARIOUS!!!!
9.30pm - BBC2 - The Cup - A wonderful comedy series about the tribulations of a kids football club in Bolton. I love the performance of the dads, always trying to outclass and outsmart each other and get their children to play for the first team.
10pm - ITV2 - Secret Diary of a Call Girl - until last week, I used to continue watching BBC2's Never Mind the Buzzcocks, but today starts Season 2 of the Secret Diary..., and I loved the first instalment. I hope I am not disappointed, since Billy Piper filmed this series heavily pregnant.
