I received today a letter from a pub, inviting me to their Winter Season Launch Party, where I can taste their new menu and sample the Winter Drinks range.
Perfect, I thought! I am well up for that. Let me check the date to write on my diary...
Wednesday, 3rd December... WTF???? they send me an invitation for yesterday?
And the funniest thing is... the pub is actually next door to my office!!!! They could have just delivered the invitation by hand!!!!
